(PetroTimes) - Petrovietnam (PVN) has just issued a decision to recognize: Group-level initiatives in 2020 phase 2 meet the criteria of newness, high applicability and great benefit value of over VND 5 billion/year for the first time of application. In which, Petrovietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC; HOSE: DCM) contributed 7 initiatives with all being recognized.

Pioneering - Innovative Achievements

Every year, the Group-level Initiative Council will organize an assessment of the initiatives proposed by the grassroots Initiative Council. This year, the assessment is divided into two phases with PVCFC's initiatives assessed in the second phase.

All initiatives of PVCFC are assessed by the Petrovietnam Initiative Council as being new, highly applicable and greatly beneficial to enterprises. To reward the creative spirit of the authors, the total value of prizes awarded by the Group is VND 260 million. This is not only the joy of the individual authors, but also the pride of the whole PVCFC team when writing the yellow page of Pioneering - Creative achievements.

“Group-level initiatives” is also an award of teamwork. They stand together on all fronts to do empirical research, frankly share ideas for a common purpose. The camaraderie is therefore more intimate and attached.

The award is a great encouragement and a launching platform for the team to confidently promote their creativity and contribute to the sustainable development of PVCFC and the Group in the new development period.

In the 10-year development journey of Ca Mau Fertilizer, the spirit of innovation has become the driving force and excitement of every working day. This cultural tradition has gradually permeated the entire team, incubating the birth of bold and useful inventions and initiatives one after another.

Many ideas are put into practice. Up to now, the number of such ideas has reached thousands, bringing great economic benefits to the Company and the Group. The plant always operates stably and maintains 110% of capacity. Especially last year, the team was autonomous in overall maintenance with 2,490 large and small items without hiring foreign experts, and met the quality and schedule requirements. The company saves about VND 40 billion of expenditure per year, and also effectively improve the quality of management and administration. That proud highlight has spread over the years and created new achievements.

Each member is given the most favorable conditions to promote their capacity and assert themselves. In addition to spiritual encouragement, the Management each year spends a certain budget to support in-depth research. The Technical - Safety and IT Division plays the leading role in implementing a series of internal creative emulation programs, discovering and fostering new talents.

One of them is “Eureka 2020 – Unlimited Creativity” which recorded 1,791 out of 2,974 registered ideas in all fields. Each idea has a certain meaning, contributes to promoting PVCFC staff’s spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to pioneer in work and ceaselessly refreshing themselves.

Also in 2020, PVCFC recognized 139 initiatives with a value of up to VND 225 billion/year to the Company. All initiatives were duly paid by the Company's Science and Technology Development Fund according to the operational management regulations. The total reward value of VND 5.4 billion is likely to increase according to the creative efforts of registered members and groups.
