In early 2008, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) held a wide international bidding and extended the copyright for the Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant Project.

Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant was officially gone construction.

On March 9, 2011, Ca Mau Gas and Fertilizer Limited Company was founded (part of PVN).

Trademark products of Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant were launched. The General Contractor entrusted the right to coordinate the commissioning and capacity testing to the Investor and completed the performance test for the entire Plant on April 14, 2012.
The State Acceptance Council approved to put the plant into commercial operation on April 23, 2012 after obtaining sufficient approval documents on fire prevention and fighting, environment, license to exploit surface water and discharge waste. On April 24, 2012, the plant was completed and handed over to the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group/Ca Mau Gas and Fertilizer Limited Company (PVCFC) for commercial operation.
Trademark products “Dam Ca Mau - Hat ngoc mua vang” were launched.
500,000 tons were yielded after 10 months.

1 million tons were yielded after 15 months.
Awarded with the titles of Vietnam’s Golden Star and Outstanding Agricultural Products

On November 12, 2014, IPO held by PVCFC was a hit with 128,951,200 shares sold out, making it the biggest IPO transaction in 2014.
PVCFC was officially recognized as the Nation’s Brand.

3 million tons were yielded after 4 years.
PVCFC became a stock company with its name DCM first appearing on Ho Chi Minh City stock market.
High quality products, N.HUMATE + TE, were launched.

Over 4 million tons were yielded after 5 years.
PVCFC received the Second-Class Labor Medal.
2 more qualitative products debuted on the market, consecutively N46 PLUS and NANO C+.

A collection of 7 products offering optimal growing environment for plants were officially distributed.

Reached a record revenue of VND 7,700 billion.
Reached a record export output of over 300 thousand tons.

Expanded the brand from “Dam Ca Mau” to “Ca Mau Fertilizer”.

On 25 April, Ca Mau fertilizer product set received the National Gold Quality awarded by the Prime Minister.
On April 16, the first batch of 20,000-ton NPK Ca Mau was officially launched: give the farmers more options, increase their benefits;
Thanks to the outstanding brand position as well as capacity, Ca Mau fertilizer had been announced by Forbes Vietnam in the list of “50 best listed companies”.
On 27 August, Petrovietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer officially entered into MOU with Plant Protection Department (PPD) paving a strategic goal in the development, balanced - effective use of organic fertilizer for a sustainable green agriculture.
On 06 October, Ca Mau Fertilizer officially reached 8 million tons of urea, marking a milestone on the journey of sustainable agricultural development after 10 years of establishment and development

In 2020, the Plant maintained production at 110% of capacity and achieved a record of converted-to-urea output for the first time in its 9-year journey, Ca Mau Fertilizer reached 934.77 thousand tons, reaching 104 % of the plan and finished nearly 51 days ahead of schedule.

Established on March 9, 2011, PVCFC is an enterprise specialized in the field of agriculture with the mission to serve millions of farmers with highly nutritious fertilizers suitable for various crops and soils. Applying technological achievements on the basis of the petrochemical industry helps PVCFC improve business efficiency and contributes to changing the face of the country's agricultural economy towards sustainable green development.
Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant always operates safely and stably at the expected capacity and produces quality and fully consumable products. The main product of granular urea with a capacity of 800,000 tons/year brings the biggest revenue and profit to the company.

To be compatible with the trend of the times, Ca Mau Fertilizer has focused on the research and production of micro-nutrient fertilizers and launched organic fertilizers suitable for various crops.
With nutritional fertilizers including: N46.Plus, N.Humate+TE, Urea Bio and NPK fertilizer line produced with modern technology launched in 2021, Ca Mau Fertilizer has been meeting various needs of farmers in all regions, further increased revenue and contributed to Vietnam's agriculture.
