Attending the opening ceremony, the representatives of Ca Mau province are Mr. Le Quan, Deputy Secretary of Ca Mau province’s Party Committee, Chairman of Ca Mau province’s People's Committee, together with comrades in the Standing Committee of Ca Mau province’s Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, the representatives of departments, sectors and branches of Ca Mau province.

The representatives of Petrovietnam are Mr. Le Manh Hung, the Group's General Director; Mr. Tran Quang Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Group’s Communication and Corporate Culture Department; together with the leaders of socio-political organizations, leaders of the Group's affiliates, the presence of the athletes and fans from many affiliates of the Group and Ca Mau Province.

Bringing the "Future step - Reaching out" message, "2021 Petrovietnam - Ca Mau Marathon Tournament" in order to promote the traditional culture of physical exercise in the entire Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and especially spread the spirit of health exercise to the people of Ca Mau. The tournament has attracted more than 20 affiliates with the participation of 1,585 athletes who are employees and relatives from the affiliates and people of Ca Mau.

In particular, within the extent of the tournament, there are also 253 children athletes who started the tournament before the Opening Ceremony, contributing to the highlight of the tournament.

For the adult tournament, in the early morning of April 18, 2021, athletes would depart from Culture Square to the central routes and back. 3 jogging distances of 21km/10km/5km are appropriately distributed, helping athletes to actively "strategize" to reach the finish line.

Jogging in particular, the movements of physical exercise in general has been a traditional culture that Petrovietnam has focused on promoting. In recent years, the jogging movement has grown and flourished in affiliates such as PVCFC, PVFCCo, BSR, Vietsovpetro, PV GAS... All together create an atmosphere of exciting competition and training, spreading positively to the community.

Therefore, throughout the journey of growth, besides professional efforts in production and business, maintaining and developing their position, the "captains" are always pioneers in the movement of jogging, sports, spreading love on the physical exercise to the whole team. Healthy for good work, to live happily and to love the life, to help family and society.

In addition to the goal of contributing to the development of the local health training movement, the tournament also helps bringing the image of Ca Mau people who are rich in hospitality and gratitude closer to people nationwide. That is also the converted message of 2021 Petrovietnam - Ca Mau Marathon Tournament. It is known that 2021 Petrovietnam - Ca Mau Marathon Tournament is also a premise to prepare Open 2021 Ca Mau Marathon Tournament taken place at the end of 2021.
